The seven miles’ walking championship was held yesterday in fine weather, the course being an excellent condition. The event resulted*: Sunderland (Victoria) 1, Osborne (Victoria) 2, Wyatt (South Australia) 3. Time, 55mini*6 3-osec. Sunderland 1 won bv 140 yards. Wyatt was 20 yC.rds behind 'Osborne. Morse (Victoria.) finished second, burt> was disqualified for lifting in the last lap. Victoria won the teams’ race, with South Australia second. Osborne and Wyatt, were in the first five throughout. Cabot was a non-starter.
