(By Telegraph.—Special to The Star.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 28. Mr. H G. Dickie, M.P. for Pa tea, has asked t-lie Minister of Public Worßs to take the necessary steps to give relief to those taxicab owners whose cars (including the fullL load of passengers and driver) weigh just- over two tons, and who now have to pay heavy license fees. He states that under the Public Works Amendment Act, 1924, these taxicabs have to pay £l2 a year heavy license fees, while taxicabs a few pounds lighter in weight pay no fees — an unfair handicap against heavier cabs_
