GREYMOUTH, Aug. 23. A five-roomed house and contents at Runanga, owned and occupied by Mr A. Richardson and family, were destroyed by fire early yesterday morning. The occupants escaped through a window. There wa.s only ai small insurance on thie house. FTR.E AT G PLYMOUTH. GRIEYMOUTH, Aug. 22. The miners’ hall at Blackball. Including a, library, two. billiard tables and furnishings, was destroyed by fire early yesterday morning. Nothing was saved. There was ncv water supply. The insurances were £375 on the building .and furniture in the Northern office and £l4O on the billiard tables in the State office.
