PICTURE STOLEN.

Received 1.5 p.m. to-day. MELBOURNE, Aug. 23. Attendants, when entering the Art Gallery, discovered that Sir Da.vid Wilkie’s picture, “Tire Gentle Shepherd,” had been torn from its frame and -stolen. •It is valued at some hundreds of pounds.
