Good average fields, containing classy performers between .the flags, will provide an attractive programme of eight races at the Egmont-Wangn-mii Hunt Club’s meeting, to ibe held on the Hawera. course on Wednesday. Acceptances in the Cup Steeplechase number 10, while the Flying Handicap has attracted nine, the Ladies’ Bracelet 13, and the Waihou Handicap 11 prospective runners. In each event, as well as in the other four, the aspirants may be depended upon to provide keen sport. Given fine wearier conditions, a large gathering of racing followers should he in attendance.
