(From Our Own Correspondent). Last Thursday and Friday the local school were busily engaged ■spring-clean-ing before their departure for . thei spring holidays. On Saturday morning the teachers left for their various holiday destinations: Miss C. MeGregop for. Rahot-u; Miss Z. Humphreys'for Wellington: Miss F. Tully, for Wanganui ; while the relieving master, Mr A. Jennings, returned to -his home. Mrs Morris Rogers, .Ayhp at present is v a patient in the Ha.wera. Hospital, is progressing favourably.'
