An American, Ricardo Sereiber, has been made! a Knight of the British Empire in recognition of his. valuable services in Anglo-Peruvian relations. This unusual bestowal of a British knighthood marks the. termination of Sir Ricardo Sereiber’s seven years’ service in London. He is shortly going to Hague as Minister. ATHENS, Aug. 21. General Metaxas, and the ex-chief of staff, General Calogeras, have been arrested and sent to Salamis.
