SCHOOLS TOURNAMENT. I'BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) PALMERSTON N., Aug. 21. The annual tournament between Wairarapa, Wellington, Wanganui, and Manawatu primary schools’ Rugby teams commenced this morning, Wellington beating Wairarapa by 10 to 9, the losers being somewhat unlucky. This afternoon Wanganui and Manawatu are jdaying as a curtain-raiser to the senior game.
