The International Olympic Games Committee, in view of the attitude of the International Lawn Tennis Federation, has informed it that unless it guarantees that the world’s best players will participate, tennis will be omitted from the 1028 games, which have been fixed to open on August 14 and to close on August 20.—Aus.-N.Z.
