HUMPTY DUMPTY.
Humpty Damply was an egg, He- hadn’t arms, he hadn’t Jogs, He couldn’t walk, lie couldn’t crawl, It may soma strange, but he sat on a v.'a 11; However he got there is hard to say, But he sat on a wall one summer’s day. He laughed and smiled tit the passersby, As he watched them pass from his place on high. The King rode by with his soldiers bravo, And Humpty Damply couldn’t wave, For lie hadn’t an arm, he hadn’t a leg, As Humpty Damply was only tin egg; Hut lie rolled with* ;joy till he couldn’t stop, Arid Humpty Damply rolled over the top. He dichi’t roll when he hit the ground. But he splashed all those who stood around.
