IN TWO CAMPS
N.S.W. CABINET CRISIS. MEMBERS SHARPLY DIVIDED POLITICAL v. INDUSTRIAL. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYBIGHT. Received 2.15 p.m. to-dav. SYDNEY, Aug. 19. The Sydney Daily Telegraph predicts a, Cabinet crisis and. the possible deposition of the Premier, Mr J. T. Lang. It| states that a distinct' cleavage has occurred between the two leading members of Cabinet, the meminto two fractions, the political wing and the industrial wing. Moreover the caucus i§ divided into two camps. The chief cause of the trouble is allegedly the failure of Mr. McTierna n’-s mission to England in connection with the proposed .abolition of the Lpper House and the complications arising out of that question. A fight for supremacy is expected in a few days before the opening of Parliament, which is now fixed for September 22.
