Eintjim was ..sentenced to- life imprisonment in connection with the murder of Mrs. Macfie.—Reuter. Two natives, E'ntjim and Ruben R.ac-hman, charged with the murder of Mrs. Macfie, confessed that they committed the crime with the object of robbery, stabbing Mrs Mac-fie while she slept.
!Mrs. Macfie, who was the wife of .a well-known actuary of Sydney, was found dead in her room at a "hotel in Batavia last September. 'Hie murder mystified the police, who detained several suspects.
