Morris, .vaitedi at the Victoria docks, London, when the former sailed for Canada. They did) not meet again until there wsts a, reunion at Pier A. Burrard Inlet, a. few clays ago, when the Niagara arrived from New Zealand bearing as one of the passengers. Frederick J. Morris, aged 77, who began, pioneering as a dairy farmer in New: Zealand forty-six years ago. When E). A. Morris bid his brother farewell a.t the London docks, 49 years ago, Victoria, 8.C., wa.s hi,si destination. He. leached there by way of San Francisco. The gold mining fever was in Ins veins and he was not Idfctg at Victoria, before he set out for the Oa.sisiar fields. Later he -assisted in the immense, .task of laj'ing rails through the mountains for the Canadian Pacific Railway. He is now a successful Vancouver merchant, having; been established! in the tobacco- business for 35 years. Three years after his brother left for Canada- the wanderlust seized hold of Frederick, eight years? his senior. He left 'the paternal home in Middlesex, England. for New Zealand, where he made a succeisis of dairy farming. Retired, Iris home is now in New Plymouth. He is hale and hearty at 77 years of a-ge. The two, ~brothers are the. sole survivors of a family of five hoys and two girls. Of this large family they were the only two, to seek tlieir fortunes m distant parts of the Ehnipire. ["Mr. F. J. Morris resided in Hawe-ra for several years, only recently taking no his residence in New Plymouth. Mrs. Morris accompanied her husband on tils' trip to Aim erica,. Mr. and Mrs Morris return to New Zealand shortly.]
