FAMILY WIPED OUT.
VERDICT AT THE INQUEST. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. SYDNEY, July 22. At the inquest in regard to the Cronulla tragedy, the coroner returned a verdict that the- husband killed the whole family, set, fire to the house, and committed suicide in. a fit of fierce insanity. Evidence was adduced that the wife' was patient and loving, and that her husband was a cruel and inhuman monster.
Charles Ni eh oils, a returned soldier, killed his wife- and two sons, set fire to his house and committed' suicide. At one time the theory was mooted that Mrs Nieholls killed- her husband and sons and then committed suicide.
