PAST SEASON REVIEWED. COMPANIES’ ANNUAL REPORTS. "With the approach of auotlier .season, most of the co-operative dairy companies in South Taranaki will be holdin»- their annual meetings in the near future; and to-day we publish the first batch of annual reports. HAWERA Reviewing the thirty-llrst year activity, the directors of the Hawera company report as follows:—The estimated pay-out for the 1924-2 o season was Is 7.09 d per lb butter-fat. The cheese unsold at the time Ihe accounts were closed brought better prices than the estimate, and the actual pav-out. for flic season (including the amount applied in payment of shares) was Is 5.24 d per lb butter-fat. Ibis season (1925-20) the cheese output was sold at 9RI per lb f.0.h., except twofifths of the January-May make, which had to be consigned. The unsold portion of this consigned elicese lias been taken in at 92s Od per cwt. Upon this basfs the pay-out for the 1925-20 season (including the amount applied m pavment of shares) will be Is 8./3d per lb butter-fat. Interest on shares has been allowed for as usual: and absorbs £IOO4 Ss lid. If this interest, which is nearly all payable to supplying shareholders," is added to the estimated payout, the total becomes Is 8.92 d per lb butter-fat. The retiring directors are Messrs. A. L Campbell, H. E. .Johnson and W. 11. Reynolds, and they all offer themselves for re-election.

ARARATA The Ararata directors’ seventeeuth annual report is as follows: — Our season’s output of cheese was sold at the satisfactory figure ofORl per lb f.o.h. The pay-out to date has been Is Bcl over the season. After setting aside Id per lb butter-fat for a special building reserve fund, the total pay-out for the season will be 3s 8.20 d. The balance will be distributed as soon as the final shipment of cheese is made. The retiring directors are Messrs .T. Grant and T. A. Winks, who are eligible for re-election, and offer themselves accordingly.

The balance will be distributed as soon as the final shipment of cheese is made. The retiring directors are Messrs T. E. Bickford and D. S.
