ANNUAL HEIFER SALE. GOOD PRICES REALISED. Buyers from Whangarei to Palmerston North were present at the Ilawera show grounds yesterday on the occasion of the annual sale of Messrs A. and; J. O’Donnell’s (Rosy Creek) Jersovs. Eighteen well-bred and wcileonditioned! heifers were offered and sold at auction, the top price realised being 55 guineas, and the average for the catalogue £32 4s 6d. The bulk of the offerings went to outside, buyers-—an. indication of the reputation enjoyed by the herd. Messrs Newton King, Ltd., in conjunction with Messrs R.
