RIOTS IN CALCUTTA.

Stray cases of stabbing and. assault occurred during the Moliurrum festival procession*, which encountered Hindu crowds in different localities. In some cases the police were compelled to fire. Six were killed and thirty-three were i n j u red. —R en ter.
