An All Australian Labour Party Congress has been Galled by Mr. Willis for August 7, in order to endeavour to secure a united party opposed to the Federal Government’s referenda proposals. Mr. Charlton (Leader of the Labour Party in the House of Representatives) lias been asked to attend. If lie' does so, he will be asked to explain the attitude he hais adopted .so far. As regard's the proposals themselves, the New South Wales executive of the Australian Labour Party hats issued a manifesto urging the workers to vote against the referenda, proposals, and in it describes them as the most dastardly attempt ever made upon the liberty oi Australian' trail© unions.
