RAILWAY SIDING: SCOTT STREET pUDSUAXT to Section 17 of “The Tramways Act, 1908,“ notice is hereby given that the BRITISH IMPERIAL OIL 'COMPANY (N.Z.), LIMITED, being desirous of obtaining access to the "Wellington-New Plymouth line of railway at Ilawera by means of a siding across Scott Street, within the Borough of Hawcra, for the purpose of loading and unloading I goods, lias made application to the Council of the Borough of Hawcra to grant a license to lay down, construct and maintain a private tramway across Scott Street, such, license to terminate at the expiration of five years. Notice is further given that the said application and any objections thereto will be taken into consideration by the Council at its meeting to be held at the Council Chambers, High Street, Hawera, on TUESDAY, the 17th dav of AUGUST, 1926, at 7.30 p.m. Memorial of objection, signed by any ratepayer or ratepayers resident within the Borough of Hawera, protesting against the granting of such license, may be. deposited at the Town Clerk’s Office., High Street, Hawera, at any time during offic-e hours at least three days before the date of the said meeting.
