PIANO RECITAL.

ANTOINE KONST A NT. Music lovers in .Hawera and district are promised a treat in the Savoy tearooms on Monday next, when Antoine Konstant, the eminent European pianist, will give one of his masterly lecture-recitals, the chosen subject being “Some of the Best Known Piano Compositions.” This will include the playing of some fifteen pieces, typical dr which are Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata, Chopin’s Berceuse, and Rachmaninoff's Prelude in O sharp uiinor. M. Antoine’s Hawera visit has been arranged by Miss Reilly, who heard the artist in Stratford yesterday and was immensely taken with his work.
