A Press Association message from Wellington states that Sir James_ Carroll is reported to be making satisfactory progress towards recovery from his illness. Private advice has been received at Wellington that. Sir James' Allen leaves England on August 6, accompanied by his sion Charles. Ho arrives, early in September. Lady Alien and the resit of the; family leave a little later.
