Store sheep.—Afore than two-thuds of to-day’s entry were shipped sheep; mostly from the North Island. Buyers were found at a price for tho noithem owes, there being occasional cases of an improvement and a- good clearance was made. Fat lambs. —Primest lambs made from 29s to 31s, prime medium-weights from. 26s (xl- to 295, and of lifts lioui 235. to 265. . Fat sheep. -An advance in prices unall classes of 2s per head. Exporters competed spiritedly at an advance on schedule rates. Extra, prime wethers brought to 40s 4.d, prime wethers 33s 6d to 36s Gd, medium wethers 30s 6d to 335, light wethers 27s 3d to 29s Gd, extra prime ewes 29s to 36s 7d, prime ewes 24s to 27s 6d, medium ewes 21s to 23s 6d, inferior ewes 17s 9cl to 20s 6d. aged owes 15s 6d to 17s- Gd. Eat cattle.—The market- was erratic, but generally weaker by up to 20s per head. BURNSIDE PRICES. DUNEDIN, June 30. At the Burnside stock sales to-day, sheep sold at prices about 2s lower than those of last, week. Lambs, fatcattle and store cattle showed little change and pigs were cheaper. Prime heavy-weight bullockvs, £l6 to £l9 15s; medium bullocks. £l2 to £ls ss; light. £9 10s to £l.l 10s; prime cows and heifers made irom £l.O to £l2 ss; medium, £0 to £8; old and inferior. £! to £5 10s. Sheep.—Prime wethers made from •36s to -11 s; medium wethers, 30s to 34s Gd; light wethers, 2os to 295. Extra heavy ewes made front 26s to 32s 3d; medium ewes made Irom 23s to 32s 3cl*; meefium ewes, 20s to 21s; old and inferior, 14s Gd to 18s. Prime lamb was worth 9d per lb.
