A meeting of the New Zealand branch of the Empire Parliamentary Association was held to-day. the: Hon. Sir Malter Carucixns presiding. One of tlie principal subjects for discussion was the invitation from the Commonwealth branch for New Zealand to be represented in Australia next September. The meeting decided that four delegates bo appointed, one trom the Legislative Council and one from each party in the House of Representatives, to be nominated later. The following officers were elected: Presidents, Sir Walter Carnercss and Hon. C. E. Statham ; vice-presidents, Sir. 1* raneis Bell. Sir R. Heaton Rhodes, the lit. Hon. J. G. Coates, and Mr 14. E. Holland; treasurer, the Hon. A. S. Malcolm: lion, auditors, the lion. M . Downie Stewart and Mr -T. S. Dickson: bon. secretary. Mr A. F. Lowe: executive committee. the foregoing, with the Hon. -J. C'raigie. Hon. Sir W. llall-Jones. Hon. E. Newman. Hon. C. -I. Smith. Hon. Tv. S. MTlliams. Sir Joseph Maid. Messrs G. ML Forbes, F. I. Howard. M. J- Savage and T. K. Sidey.
