ANNUAL MEETING. (by TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) PALMERSTON N., June 16: The annual meeting of the New •Zealand Sheepbreeders’ Association of the North Island was held this morning. The annual report recorded increased Southdown flocks, no fewer than 38 being registered, the total number of such flocks in the book now being 310. Breeders were urged to improve their flocks so as to improve the quality of the fleece and the meat. The balance-sheet disclosed a credit of £276. The excess of assets over liabilities was over £SOO. The following officers were elected: President, Mr Stuckey (Dannevirke); vice-president, Mr J. Knight (Feilding). For the council there were three vacaneeis, Messrs Marshall (Marton). Buick (Masterton) and Rayner (Masterton) being elected.
