TRAGEDY IN THE ARENA. BY CABLE—PEESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. MADRID, June 14. Twelve thousand people saw Mariano Montes, the most famous bullfighter, killed instantly in the Madrid bull ring. Montes engaged six extremely ferocious bulls, but missed the fifth, which tossed his body into the air'several times, to the horror of the onlookers. He had; been previously in_ jured nineteen times in the bull ring.
