COMBATING TUBERCULOSIS.
A NEW ORGANISATION. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION —COP Y EIGHT. Received 1.15 p.m. to-day. SYDNEY, June 15. A conference of leading medical practitioners and representatives of institutions interested in combating tuberculosis was held at the instance of the Department of Health. It was decided to create a special branch of the department to deal with tuberculosis, and to be thoroughly representative of all interests. A board of control was appointed to put the scheme into operation.
