To-night) in the Savoy Rooms, the Women’s National Reserve will hold a plain and fancy dress charity ball, the proceeds of which will bo devoted, to .cases of distress. The object for which the ball is being held is certain to attract a large crowd of dancers, who are assured also of having-a capital evening. Music will be supplied by the De Luxe orchestra, land during the evening there, will be novelty dances. Special preparations are being made by the committee and hon. secretary (Mr 11. R. Wood) of the Otakeho branch of the Farmers’ Union for the annual social and. presentation of prizes in the hall on Friday evening next at 8 o’clock.
