The annua 1 training camp of the Wellington and Wtost Coast (Queen Alexandra’s Own) 2nd Mounted Rifles, which began to-day on the Hawera Showcrounds, is under the command of Lieut.-Colonel W. P. Foley. M.C. Associated with him are the following officers and non-commissioned officers: Chief instructor, Captain Tv. L. Stewart. N.Z.S.C. ; adjutant, Lieut. G. M. McCaskil’. N.Z.SIC.; assistant adjutant, Lieut. A. D. Sugdeu, N.Z.S.C.; camp sergt.-major, S.S.M.. (W. 0.) J. 0 Rowe. N.Z.P.S. : camp quarter-mas-ter, S.S.I. G. Quay le, N.Z.P.S.; instructors. Lieut. A. .J. King, S.S.M. (W.O ) J.T.R. Bell, S.S.M. A. E. Stevens, S.S. A Holmes, and S.S.M. Briggs (signalling). The headquarters wing of the regiment marched into camp early this* afternoon, led by the Hawera Highland Pipe Band.
