CARGO PILLAGING.
SAILOR CHARGED W 7 ITH. THEFT. (BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, June 14. There was extensive cargo pillaging on the steamer Port Melbourne- on the voyage from Panama to Auckland, ahole being cut through the bulkhead giving access to three holds. At the Police Court to-day, John Thomas Newbury, a member of the crew, on a- charge of theft of cutlery, Vva-s remanded.
