RIFFS MASSACRED

Advices from Tetuan states that as a reprisal for the terrible massacre they suffered at the hands of the Riffs at tlie time of the Spanish retreat from Sheshuan, the Akhmes tribe decapitated all caids appointed by Abd-el Krim, throwing the bodies on the dunghi.is and displaying their heads in market Dill COS. The chiefs of the Akhmes ordered that all Riffs and Jebalas in the district were to be killed without mercy. The order was immediately carried out The Riff official appointed by Abd-e' Krim at Banider was arrested ancl killed a® he was attempting to flee into the international zone with a. large sum of money.—Reuter.
