COMPULSORY CONFERENCE.
CALLED FOR AUSTRALIAN COAL STRIKE. SYDNEY, June 10. At a conference between Mr. J. M. Baddeley (Minister for Labour) and Mr Hibfele (chairrnan of the Coal Tribunal), it was agreed to call a compulsory conference of the parties to the coal dispute,' and the prospects of an early settlement are hopeful. Summonses have been issued calling the parties in the coal trade dispute to a compulsory conference on Monday .next.
