The autumni tinted decorations, and vari-coloured frocks- of the dancers made. a. gay scene, 'Stoddard's, orchestra greatly adding to the pleasure of the eiveni ng. PERSONAL. Air. J. Currie, manager oif the local branch, of the Bank of New -South Wales, haisl gone toi relieve the manager of the Wanganui branch lor a< few months, Air. A. E. Taylor, of the Inspectors office, Wellington, is relieving here.
