PRIME MINISTER ACTIVE,
Mr H. G. Dickie, M.P., received a. telegram this morning from the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. J. G. However, he would endeavour to find urgent' work upon which the Haivera unemployed could be placed. Mr Dioiiie will be in Wellington' this evening, and will see. the Prime Minister on this matter.
In our statement, regarding the unemployment- position in Hawera. in our, ':ate edition of yesterday, it was erroneously stated that Mr L. Sales was the spokesman for the local men. Mr Sales’ initials are B. G. A.
