(Of 250 sovs.; one mile.) 4 Buoyant 1 2 Kilris 2 6 French Belle 3 Scratched: Coch-y-Bondhu, Captain Sarto, and Quarrelsome. Won by a length, a similar distance separating second and third. Time, 1.47 2-5. BIRTHDAY HANDICAP. (Of 500 sovs.; one and a. half miles.) 4 Full Swing 1 8 Goosestep : 2 6 Kilfane 3 All started. Won by a neck, three lengths between second and third. Time, 2.43. OTAGO STEEPLECHASE. (Of 650 sovs.; three and a quarter miles.) 6 Night Raid 1 4 Cartoon 2 2 Uncle Bob 3 All started. Won by two lengths, two hundred yards separating second and third. Time, 7.292-5.
