Git AND THEATRE, TO-NIGHT,

“The the Alaskan-made epic, will be screened at the Grand Theatre to-night- tor a season of one night only. The novelty of a northern drama actually photographed on the spot is intriguing loea] threatre-goers, and there is unusual interest being evidenced. The production is said to abound with thrills ■and adventures, while running through like a silver thread .is a beautiful strain of romance. This picture is supported by Our Gang Comedy, “The Gbampeen,” and Pathe Gazette. HAROLD LLOYD, THE JOY KING. After playing extended seasons to caapcity houses all th© way in Auckland, Harold Lloyd’s latest and most refreshing comedy, “Hot Water,” opened to close on a “capacity house” at the Opera House last night. In this film Harold Loyd is seen as a confirmed bachelor, who swears that he will never fall for a pair of soft eyes. But at this point Fate takes a hand in the proceedings and throws a monkey wrench into the smooth-running machinery of his existence. The monkey wrench is ail irresistible charming one, in the person of Jobyna Ralston, than whom there is no fairer among beautiful women. The result is that poor Harold’s dream of life of single, blessedness fades into- darkest oblivion. After a glorious honeymoon, he finds that there are many thorns along the primrose path of love. These are presented in this great comedy, which is a veritable scream. The film will be screened again to-night for the last time.
