PENALTIES IMPOSED. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. LONDON, May 19. Mrs. Margery Pollitt, the wife of a Communist leader, who was arrested during the strike, was fined £SO. Stewart, the acting-general secretary of the Communist Party, was fined £IOO. Two sisters named Span were bound over for a year. Ail were charged with posssesing documents contravening the emergency regulations.
