AUSTRALIANS AT HOAIE. ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS HENDRY SUFFERS FROAI SCARLET FEVER. BV CABLE -PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT. LONDON, May 16. Hendry is the member of the Australian eleven who is suffering from scarlet fever. This illness is unfortunate, as liis bowling will be sorely missed unless wickets* become much faster than hitherto. The team was delighted "at dismiss>ing Marylebone for under 200. The club team had a weak tail. The score was once three for 170, and then the next seven wickets fell for 29, principally due to the later batsmen’s lack of enterprise. The Australians are feeling the continued bitterly cold weather, and_ cannot keep warm in the field. If the wickets do not improve the attack must remain with Richardson, Alacnrtney and Collins. On the present slow wickets Gregory and Everett are unable to develop pace. Collin® feels that howling Mailey and Ryder will only mean giving away runs. Richardson on Saturday howled excellently for four hours without a. change. It should he explained that Falcon captained Alary Rhone team instead of Carr because the latter is not a member of the club. MATCH WITH MARYEBONE. CONTINUED TN~COLD WEATHER. LONDON, Alay 17.
