ACCIDENTS AT DUNEDIN. (by TELEGRAPH PRESB ASSOCIATION.'/ DUNEDIN, May 10. In, the Rugby match, University A v. Kaikorai, on Saturday, George Dickinson, the All Black, when .playing for Kaikorai, suffered a broken collarbone. His injuries will probably necessitate his withdrawal from further matches this season. There weir e also two accidents in tine match Taieri Rovers v. ’Varsity B. Findlay, a Taieri player, injured Ms ankle, and Southgate, another Taieri man, broke a few ribs. Victor Baker, aged 19, a third-grade player, was admitted to hospital with an injury to an ankle. REFEREE INCAPACITATED. CHRISTCHURCH, May 16. A most unusual incident occurred m a Rughvmatch lie tween Old Boys and Albion at the Showgrounds on Saturday, when the referee. C. McUaughlan. was 'aid out. The accident occurred about ten minutes after the Start of the game. A player collided with MeLanghlan. who received an injury to his head, which necessitated attention from an smibul'ano? man. It was a. minute or two before MoLnugblan was able to resume.
