The ratepayers of the Hawera district will bei reassured as to the administration of their hospital and charitable aid affairs upon reading extracts from ai letter received at to-day’s Board meeting. The secretary for the Department of Health wirote stating that the Hawera. Board’s estimates for the year 1926-27 had beene approved by the Minister as follow —
In a supplementary letter, the secretary for the Department stated that “the estimates are in excellent order,” and that the provision made by the Board for equalisin pr interest on loans “is a prudent one.”
