TROUBLE IN PORTUGAL. AN UNPOPULAR BILL. DISORDER IN PARLIAMENT. BY CABLE—PBESS ASSOCIATION—COPYBIGHT. Received 10 a.m. to-day. PARIS, May 6. A grave political crisis is reported from Portugal. ’ The Government’s introduction of a Bill renewing the tobacco duty led to an unprecedented scene. There was uproar for many hours. Later a number of deputies led a mob into Parliament, resulting in wild disorder. The Republican Guard cleared the building after much fighting.
