FOR. NEW ZEALAND. 3127 ASSISTED IN FOUR, MONTHS. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. LONDON, May 4. The Hon. L. C. M. S. Amery, Secretary for the Dominions, told the House of Commons that Britain had granted 3127 assisted passengers to Nsew Zealand during last four months. He believed there was generally 5 to 10 per cent, rejections on medical grounds. He informed Sir T. Hall that the Anglo-Soviet agreement of 1921 applied to Canada, but he was unaware of any negotiations to extend Soviet trade to other Dominions.
