BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. ST. JOHNS, April 29. Sir Richard Squires, a former Premier of Newfoundland, was found guilty today on a charge of having committed a breach of the War Tax Act by failing to -submit income-tax returns for the year 1918. He was fined 300 dollars. Sir Richard has also been fined 4000 dollars on similar charges, and trials are to follow on six charges covering the years 1919 to 1924.
