Referring to armament limitation when discussing international issues in an address here on Tuesday, the Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Kellogg, said that the Government 'would welcome an agreement which would complete the work begun at the Washington conference in 1921. “Particularly a : s there is a danger that the competitive construction, which, formerly existed, particularly with respect to capital slj|ips, may be still continued in a less aggravated form. This is true with respect to cruisers and other types of naval craft not dealt, with by the Washintofi Treaty.”—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
