APPLE CROP DAMAGED
GALE IN CENTRAL OTAGO (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) DUNEDIN, April 17. , Advice from Central Otago -states that heavy damage was done to the apple crops on Thursday by a gale which swept practically right through the district. It is estimated that the quantity of apples blown off trees would fill several thousand cases.
