ENGLAND TO AUSTRALIA

GORHAM’S FLIGHT. ITINERARY ALMOST COMPLETE. BY CABLE—PBESS ASSOCIATION—COPYBIGHT Received 2.10 p.m. to-day. LONDON, April 16. It is understood that Gobham’s .itinerary for hisi flight to Australia its on the verge of completion. It differs materially from Sir Ross Smith’s, -and consists chiefly of short isjtiages, numbering -about 30, but none exceeding 500 -mile®. . . Apparently the idea is to provide for quick petrol refills and doing two stages daily, so that, if the weather be favourable, there is pro-spec,t of cutting off at least -a week •from Sir Ro-sis Slmithis time of 28 days. Cobh am- will probably first touch Australia -at Darwin, thence- follow the fringe of Queensland, and traverse the Riverina to -Melbourne.
