Sir Arthur Ramsay-Steel-Maitland (Minister of Labour)y on behalf ox Mr Baldwin, conferred with the coal owners, urging the confidential declaration of the new wage rates they have compiled in accordance with the commission's suggestions, eliminating continuance of the subsidy. ~ . If the owners' proposals are not available by Monday, Mr Baldwin will attempt to speed them up.
