At the Supreme Court, Mrs. Matilda Emily Parkes was awarded £125 damages against William Livingstone, owner and driver of a ’bus by which the plaintiff was knocked down on August 14. REFRESHER COURSES FOR COUNTRY DOCTORS. DUNEDIN, April 17. The suggestion of Dr. Robertson, of Tapanui, that country medical officers should take their turn in coming to Dunedin to exchange with the resident medical officer of the Otago Hospital Board, in this way introducing a system of refresher courses, has been approved by the hospital hoard’s committee.
