EXTRA EDITION.

FROM CAPTAIN WILKINS. SOME ANXIETY PELT. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received 1.30 p.m. to-day. VANCOUVER, April 5. Some anxiety is felt at Fairbanks owing to the silence of Captain Wilkins, who has not been heard from since Fridav night. He was expected to return from “Point Barrow to Fairbanks on Easter Sunday, but had not appeared, although the weather was perfect for flying. The party which left Fairbanks by dog sledge for Point Barrow also struck trouble after crossing the Endacott Mountains. It sent a wireless message that it was short of food .for the dogs, and unless relief was sent soon some of the animals would have to be shot. The leader of this party, Malcolm Smith, set out for help "and'provisions, but has not since been heard of. —Sydney Sun Cable.
