EAR ’PHONES FOR DANCERS
A PROFESSOR ’,*? EXPERIMENTS. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. LONDON, March 27. 'The ghostly spectacle of dancers moving rhythmically round a ballroom without music, but with ear ’phones, is promised by Professor Low at a coming West End function. Professor Low states he is sympathetic towards nondancers who are disturbed by continuous jazz music. Therefore, he is carrying out an experiment using headphones fitted for inductive transmission. Music will be played elsewhere in the building, and the transmitter will be concealed in curtains. Inductive transmission is only possible for short distances. Dancers will hear correctly, and non-dancers will not be disturbed.
