Spoony has incurred a penalty of 21b (to 7.9) for the President’s Handicap at the A.R.C. meeting by its win at Franklin. Mr. McManemin has decided not to rehandicap King Merv for the Easter Handicap.

TROTTING REHANDICAPS FOR HAWERA. The following- rehandicaps for the first day of the Hawera Trotting Club’s Easter meeting have been' declared by Mr F. W. Edwards as under: Matapu Handicap.—Hardy Grattan 84yds bhd. Normanby Handicap. —Firpo 48yds bhd. President’s Handicap.—Zolook Palm 48vds bhd.
